IS THERE A MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD?
Duration of hire is flexible.
HOW LONG IS YOUR LONG-TERM HIRE?
There is no limit to the length of hire. Our long-term hire can basically be as long as you require.
ARE THERE ANY CONDITIONS FOR LONG-TERM HIRE?
The conditions of long-term hire are that the car is reviewed at every quarter (3 monthly) to ensure both parties (you and I) are still satisfied with the agreement. To see other conditions, see our T&C’s page or contact us.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
We ask for a £200 deposit, refundable on return of the hire vehicle
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?
We mainly cover the North East. If you are outside of the North East you are still able to hire from us. However, we do require you to take out breakdown and recovery on the vehicle.
CAN I SWAP MY HIRE CAR?
Vehicles can be swapped after 6 months on long term hire
WHAT DO I DO IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE?
Any issues with the car must be reported immediately.
DO YOU OFFER BREAKDOWN RECOVERY?
In case of breakdown, recovery is only available within the North East area, outside this area there will be a charge incurred (£20 plus £1 per mile return to WMA MOTOR SERVICES)
WHAT IF MY CAR NEEDS REPAIRS?
All maintenance and repairs (if necessary) are carried out by ourselves (excluding tyres and glass)
DO I NEED INSURANCE?
You are required to take out fully comp insurance on the vehicle yourself and provide evidence of such.
DO I NEED A LICENCE?
You need a full UK driving licence and are required to provide evidence of your driving license before any hire agreement.
CAN I USE MY RENTAL FOR MY TAXI BUSINESS?
No absolutely not. Under no circumstances may our vehicles be used as taxis.
